Converse Presents Waves Stage at Capsule Fest

Converse together with Capsule Fest have taken Waves Brand to its next evolution, a stand-alone stage at a major festival. The Converse Waves Stage will boast the best in urban indie arts with the likes of 2 Lee Stark, J Molley, Una Rams, Champagne 69 and Patrickxxlee all hitting the stage.They will be accompanied by local cult DJs such as Uncle Partytime, Vato Kayde and Chuck Tailored joined by Cape Town mavericks Aux Gawd, Pascoe, and Uncool Luke.

The Festival plans to shine a light on non-mainstream music and street culture with a special focus on the youth, making Newtown’s Mary Fritzgerald Square the perfect venue to host the event. You don’t want to miss the Waves stage as it’s going to be a serious turn up for real!

 

Capsule Fest is a street culture festival. The 1st Annual event will take place at Mary Fitzgerald Square in Newtown, Johannesburg on the 16th of September 2017. The event will feature over 30 live performances from some of the industry’s biggest music acts. In addition to the music, Capsule will also showcase over 20 local and international brands in a manner that has never been seen before in SA.

Capsule is a mesh of culture so expect the best of food, fashion, art, music and other engaging activities on the day. Early Bird Tickets for Capsule Fest are R150 (General Access) and R300 (VIP) and are now on sale exclusively at select SPORTSCENE stores.
